A beat tape slash album made between August 2022 to December 2022.
A journey of moving away from primarily working in the daw using a series of samplers.
Throughout this album, samples are chopped and sequenced mostly on the Roland SP808. Along with finalizing final mixes and production for each song with the SP808(amazing sampler).
Drums are mostly produced using the Akai MPC1000. Both various samples and drums I take advantage of the SP808's multiple stereo inputs, and use my Roland SP404SX as my Swiss army knife for effects and additional samples performed throughout.
After a decade of being familiar with making the music in the DAW, this album has changed my entire outlook of how I express myself through chops and flips!
